'We are the people we've been waiting for'

"What we have is a system that is shaped by historical forces but they are now almost totally bankrupt as ideas for education in the 21st Century. And I think they are betraying most of our children." So says Sir Ken Robinson in this thought-provoking trailer for Daryl Goodrich's new film (with David Puttnam as executive producer), We are the people we've been waiting for. It was part of Lord Puttnam's keynote speech at the Innovation in Education conference in London on November 9, organised by The Guardian and The Innovation Unit, and is worth watching as a conversation starter in its own right.
